If you replace a refrigerator bought in 1990 with a new ENERGY STAR qualified model you can save enough energy to light the average household for nearly 4 months.

ENERGY STAR® Qualified Dehumidifiers $10 Mail-in Rebate Dehumidifiers remove excess moisture from the air, helping to reduce allergy symptoms, musty odors, and condensation. ENERGY STAR qualified dehumidifiers have more efficient refrigeration coils, compressors, and fans than conventional models, and they meet or exceed requirements for energy efficiency. Advantages of ENERGY STAR® Qualified Dehumidifiers ENERGY STAR qualified dehumidifiers remove the same amount of moisture from the air as a conventional model but use 10-20% less energy. A 40 pint unit, can add up to savings of $40 per year, or $480 over the life of the unit.
