Over 4000 people attended Greenfest 2012 in an effort to save “mother earth” and were educated in Green areas of Solar Energy, Healthy Eating, Home Living & Eco-Products for every day living. It was held on May 19, 2012 at Kennedy Plaza in Long Beach NY
You could not have asked for a more perfect weather day, a mere 80 degrees and clear. We had 37 Vendors, 2 bands in total including The Long Beach Farmers Market and Art in the Plaza.
This event would not be possible if we didn’t have the vendors, sponsors and people who helped define and shape what is now a staple in annual events for the city of Long Beach and Long Islanders. The 2012 Vendors came from all topics associated with The Green Project of Long Islands theme of education: Home Living, Healthy Eating, Environmental and Ecological.
We would like to thank Financial Equities, Walter Stashin, Hector Passini, & Mike Vassallo & Empower Solar, David Schieren & Crew for their premiere sponsorship. There were on hand to answer any questions or concerns for financing of Green Projects and solar energy questions. Thank you to Dr. Patrick McManus, & Ruth Orellana, Beach Babies (highlighted Stem cells, cord blood and healthy ways to help pregnant women at Greenfest) and Richard Klein of The Diamond Law Group for their silver sponsorship. Thank you to IAQ Technology & TP Exterminators, (Sponsor of Seating).

And to the Long Beach City workers who hung up our banner at the Bus Depot and the city sanitation workers who cleaned up the plaza after Greenfest was over.
If we forgot to mention anyone here, our sincerest apologies for the blunder. Greenfest takes a lot of planning, talking and negotiating, getting sponsors and asking people for a lot of support. People are generous and kind for a cause. This is always about spreading the message of Green and taking this message beyond Long Beach into the reaches of Long Island. From what we saw on our attendance sheets, we have spread our messages to Oceanside, Freeport, Merrick, Baldwin, Bellmore, Island Park, Seaford, Wantagh, South Hampton, Northport, and Port Jefferson and counting. See you next year.
