Greenfest 2010 was a blast! It was held on October 16, 2010 at Kennedy Plaza in Long Beach, NY. We had 27 Vendors and 4 bands in total including The Long Beach Farmers Market. Some 200-300 people attended and were educated in Green areas of Solar Energy, Healthy Eating, Home Living & Eco-Products for every day living. You can't have a good Greenfest without thanking all our vendors, sponsors and people who helped make Greenfest a huge success.

First to Melaleuca, Shaklee and Wow Green. They are part of our Home living which is key to anyone looking for ways to improve their health and way of life in the home. Also on hand, was my friend Prudy who displayed Tupperware to help you preserve veggies and fruits. My friend Lloyd and his crew were ready to assist anyone who came to Greenfest by getting all the junk out of their attic, or basement. The folks at 1-800-Got Junk? are ready to help you 24/7. Thank you to IMI Software for hosting and maintaining The Green Project of Long Island's website.

My friend Alan Richartz from Mortgage Enterprise (DIAMOND SPONSOR) was at GreenFest showcasing many 203k programs from FHA and energy efficient mortgages. Thank you to Rose Gagliardi at Insurance Plus for providing the reusable green bags and pads and for sponsoring Greenfests BANDS. My friend Scott Perry from IAQ was on tap to provide his insights into mold detox and healthy environment of the home. Empower Solar and Sunations Solar Systems were at Greenfest to answer all your questions about what makes solar energy work and how inexpensive it is. Synergy was ready to offer gym memberships and training for all of you guys and girls who are thinking about revisiting gym options. My friends at 9B Threads were at Greenfest to display their organic clothing and were the makers of our GREEN Shirts.

A special thank you for coming and participating goes to Long Beach Medical Center, The Long Beach Lions Club and Long Beach Breast Cancer who highlighted what they do for Green by recycling old glasses, cell phones and help victims of breast cancer get back to a normal lifestyle. Dr. Patrick McManus & his Beach Babies (DIAMOND SPONSOR) highlighted Stem cells, cord blood and healthy ways to help pregnant women at Greenfest. The Long Beach Farmers Market was there with their vendors providing healthy eating.

Thank you to BLUE DOG, BOBBY BLUES, THE ELEMENTS and SO WAS RED with Dj entertainment from FME Entertainment/Frederick Maloney. A huge thank you to Fred and crew for all the sound checks, and preparation of the music.
